Policies apply to the examination-based programs. Candidates are expected to have read them and agreed with them prior to take an exam.
This document, The Open Group Certification for People Certification Policy for Examination-Based Programs, sets out the policies and processes by which a person may achieve certification and is an integral part of the terms and conditions of each Certification for People Program of The Open Group. Defined terms are in addition to definitions provided in the Program Configuration document of the particular Program.
If you are taking one of The Open Group Examinations then you are required to accept a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement.
Exam security Policy
If a candidate violates any testing rule, exam policy or term within the exam confidentiality agreement (NDA), or engages in misconduct that diminishes the security and integrity of The Open Group Certification Program in any way, the candidate may be permanently prohibited from taking any future exams. In addition, the candidate may be decertified from the The Open Group Certification Program including removal from the Certification registers and test scores and certifications may be revoked. Exam conduct policy
Candidates who fail an examination are not allowed to re-take any examination again within that Program for a period of one (1) month.
As a U.S. corporation, The Open Group prohibits nationals of countries subject to U.S. embargo or trade restrictive sanctions.
