3. Best Practice Implementation

Your Organization is required to implement all of the "Should" requirements in which the Practitioner is identified as "Lottery" in Appendix A of the Acceptance Testing Best Practice, or provide rationale for why the recommendation is not implemented. If there are any "Should" requirements that your Business Practice does not support at all or does not support as a normal course of business for each product you produce, please select each such requirement and supply your rationale for why your organization believes the requirement is not applicable or required.

Requirement 15: Each test script should include: - Test post-conditions - the operations that should be performed to restore the system to a neutral state after the running of an individual test or group of tests. This is also known as test clean-up.
Rationale
Majority of DC Lottery QA Acceptance testing activities are for scheduled User Acceptance Testing which is designed to mimic continuous operation of the production environment, and therefore, do not require system to be restored to a neutral state after most of the designated testing. For specific testing such as the ticket purging testing (normally reserve to be the last test), the test post-conditions will be included.
